Fawad And Mahira Are NOT In India, Says MNS
Will the two actors succeed in returning to promote Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Raees respectively?
If GECs toe the MNS' line, you and I will not see any Pakistani artiste in any TV show for quite some time.
SpotboyE.com has it MNS knocked the doors of Star, Sony, Zee and Colors and told them in no uncertain terms that they should not harbour any thoughts hereafter to sign up any Pakistani artiste for any of their forthcoming ventures.
Confirming the same in a telephonic conversation with SpotboyE.com this evening, MNS Chitrapat Sena's president Ameya Khopkar said, "Yes, our people met Star, Sony, Zee and Colors and made our stand clear."
For those who've come in late, 3 days ago, MNS had given Pakistani actors 48 hours to leave India in the wake of the Uri attack in Jammu and Kashmir.
A couple of days ago, we brought you the story that MNS had reached out to Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza and Radio Mirchi with a similar order (MNS reaches out to Radio Mirchi & Optimystix demanding TOTAL BAN on Pakistani artistes, Sep 24).
Khopkar also revealed in the same conversation that Fawad Khan (who is an integral part of Karan Johar's upcoming film Ae Dil Hai Mushkil) and Mahira Khan (who plays the female lead opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Raees) are not in India. "They are not in our country. I think all the Pakistani artistes have gone away. Some of them have gone to Dubai, some went to Pakistan directly, and some went to Dubai and took a connecting flight to Pakistan."
